On September 29 the second Tbilisi Piano Festival was over by symphony music concert. Dudana Mazmanishvili, Georgian pianist, the Laureate of International Awards, was an organizer and artistic director of this project.
Nikoloz Rachveli conducted the National Symphonic Orchestra. Pianists- Giorgi Gigashvili and Tsotne Zedgenidze were presented to the listeners.
Andria Basilaia-Deputy Mayor of the Capital, Tika Rukhadze-Director of the National Youth and Children’s Palace, and Representatives of musical and cultural spheres have attended the event.
From September 22 up to 29, festival concerts, masterclasses, virtual workshops, and lectures had been provided In the frame of Tbilisi Piano Fest. The audience was content and enjoyed the event.
Legendary pianist Tsiprien Catsaris, well-known musicians: Jerom Rosy, Massimiliano Ferati, GabrieleLe Porati, and young successful Georgian musicians-Nicolas Namoradze and Mariam Batsashvili were participating in musical meetings.
Honorary Prizes and Certificates had been delivered to the young musicians, participants of the Fest masterclasses, and workshops.
The best three participants of this educational component had been awarded by Music Recorder Label-Cugate Classics. The Company will produce Professional audio recordings of Giorgi Gigashvili, Aslan Chicovani, and Sandro Gegechkori. Besides, the company will provide full production support of CD for Giorgi Gigashvili.
The official Partner of the Tbilisi Piano Festival is the world brand – BECHSTEIN, who presented the grand piano to the National Youth and Children’s Palace, as one of the co-organizers. By the decision of the Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Andria Basilaia and the Head of the Palace, Festive Hall after the rehabilitation will be given the name after “BECHSTEIN”.
